How ironic is it that the very thing that makes Axel so effective in his motorcycle club is what is keeping him from the man he wants?

Axel, or “Ax” as his friends call him, is a big man with tattoos and muscles and a reputation among bikers as a killer. He’s been in love with Caleb for years, but Caleb is terrified around him. Because Caleb went through something very traumatic at the hands of a big man like Axel. And Axel’s beginning to think growing in his hair and quietening his tone isn’t working.
That maybe he should just throw in the towel.
Then one day Caleb invites Axel in for a glass of water.
